Ten Voorde, born in Enschede in 1996, began his journey in the Porsche Supercup in 2018 and made the switch to the Dutch Team GP Elite in 2019. During his time with this team, Ten Voorde experienced considerable success, including winning the Supercup in 2020 and 2021, as well as the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland in the same years. As of today, he is a six-time Porsche Cup champion.
In a significant turn in his career, Larry ten Voorde announced his departure from Team GP Elite in early 2024, where he has had a remarkable period.
This year, Larry is more motivated than ever! His goal is clear: taking back the titles in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. Additionally he will compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia. Larry started the year off strong with a win in the 24H Dubai.
In 2022 Larry fought hard for the 'Triple Double', winning both the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland titles for three consecutive years. In a strong starting field he became second in both championships.
2021 saw Larry establish himself as the best Porsche Cup driver in the World, once again claiming both the Supercup and Carrera Cup Deutschland title.

After hearing the terrible news of your passing, I am lost for words.
I really can’t believe what happened. Yesterday the motorsport community has lost one of its most beautiful members.
My condolences go out to your wife Karola, children, your family and our own Proton Huber family.
I remember Gerhard as one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and that is why I am deeply moved that this tragic accident happened to him. Gerhard was always happy and every time we bumped into each other I got a warm hug. At those moments, he didn’t care which team shirt I was wearing, because Gerhard looked beyond team colors to see the actual person in front of him.
I know what Gerhard has done for the Huber family is beyond incredible and that is why I have enormous respect for him. He was always there for the Huber’s and they went through thick and thin.
I am lucky and blessed that I was able to know you in my life, and that we have shared the most wonderful moments together. I will remember these forever and cherish them.
For now, rest in peace my dear friend. We’re going to miss you. One day we will meet again.
